Journal Entry: Sun Jul 13, 2008, 5:47 AM
so here are some of the updated versions of some of my images here on DA.

i must admit i am not sure that i have actually improved any of them which is a little concerning... for some of them i actually put the newer version next to the old to compare...anyway if anyone gets the time to look at them please do and your feedback would be much appreciated

Whats Wrong With Some People?

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 22, 2008, 10:02 PM
  • Mood: Mortified
I am deeply saddened that this has to even be an issue and that this is enabled in our society, i am for once absolutely lost for words, my emotions have completely took over so writing this feels impossible.

someone sent me this link to petition against this "artist" who let a dog starve as part of his exhibition.
i think we as artists can strongly relate to this as it tarnished the very word "artist" and to try and pass murder as art there is a problem

i hope that anyone who reads this can think of a pet that they have had and replace this dog with their pet and think how would have they felt (or even put yourself in the position of being part of his exhibition, with no concern for you life), and then find the motivation to sign this petition to get this STOPPED.

(WARNING: there are graphic images so please be aware) this is the face book site with the info about it. just click on the links on the page to sign the petition

ONE MONTH

I WILL HAVE BEEN ON DEVIANT ART FOR ONE MONTH TOMORROW,
WHICH I AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT.

I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS VISITED MY GALLERY, AND WITHOUT BEING PRESUMPTUOUS (ONLY INCLUSIVE), THOSE WHO WILL (HOPEFULLY) VISIT IN THE FUTURE.

I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS BECAUSE I AM IN A PHILOSOPHICAL MOOD, BUT I HAVE BEEN WONDERING LATELY, WHAT IF DEVIANT ART (OR ANY OTHER ARTISTS PLATFORM) WHERE ARTISTS SHOWCASE THEIR WORK, WERE AROUND DURING THE TIME OF MODERNISM, HOW WOULD THAT HAVE SHAPED THE PRESENT, WHICH PROMPTS THE QUESTION HOW IS DEVIANT ART SHAPING THE FUTURE?

SO I JUST UPLOADED THIS AND BECAUSE IT IS ON A DIFFERENT TIME IT IS SAYING THE 4TH APRIL, 10 PM, BUT I AM IN AUS, SO IT IS ACTUALLY SAT, AFTERNOON. :)

Inner Critic

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 7, 2008, 12:25 AM
i have been deciding for quite some time whether or not i was going to put my art on here.

and im happy to say, it is my first day on deviant art, and i am on a high because i finally got over a mental obstacle, the "inner critic" that im sure all artists have, pushing you to do better, but sometimes preventing you from taking opportunities.

anyway
i hope that you like the gallery
