Well i guess the title mixed with the visual says it all
The butterfly represents anyone who has felt trapped/stunted/ degraded/depressed /sad/lost/hurt/abused/let down or any other emotion that you think of when looking at this
it is about letting go and moving on, and i suggest if you are going through something dont wait for the answer to come and magically make it go away you have to be pro-active and find the tools you need to move on
i have not done it very well, i spent under an hour on it because i felt it was time to put it on here so i will probably go back to it eventually and finish it
i tried to make the colour metallic and surreal i wanted it to not look like it fitted in this world
i used a sketch i did when i was around 16, scanned it into my computer and put it in photoshop
i used photoshop CS2 and my wacom I3
there were multiple problems with uploading this it tried my patience but i prevailed
I like it. I think a slightly more surreal image works for the subject matter you were going for. Photorealism is nice but it doesnt always convey the sort of emotion an image like this does

i thought it might be more suitable also im glad you felt the same
i do like realism in images but i also wanted to make an image that is a little less of an observation and more of a feeling it that makes sense, but i guess you picked that up
Nice work! Keep it up! None of us does moves on all that well...it can be truly difficult at times...and then other times...well...not so difficult! LOL...

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
